Corrections made
- 2026-08-26: Fixed two reading errors in the automatic furigana (the display-layer ruby annotation) — (1) several conjugated forms of the irregular verb 「来る」 were all annotated 「く」 and now follow the conjugation (来ました／来なさい = き, 来ない／来られる／来させる = こ, 来る／来れば = く); (2) the same-kanji stems 「遅い (おそ)」 and 「遅れる (おく)」 shared one reading and are now separated by their okurigana. This is a display-layer annotation fix — the original example sentences were not rewritten. The error patterns listed here are now covered by an automated whole-corpus gate; other automatic-furigana issues may remain, and we do not claim that all Japanese on this site has been reviewed sentence by sentence by teachers or native speakers.
- 2026-07-27: Thanks to a reader's report, fixed an auto-furigana mislabel in vocabulary-card examples — the 「変」 in 「予定を変えた」 was mislabeled with the on-reading 「へん」 and is now corrected to 「か」, the stem reading of the verb 「変える」 (a general fix; similar cases benefit too).
- 2026-07-27: In line with the author's positioning (content planner, not a teacher), removed a few articles' inaccurate first-person 'teaching experience' statements and reframed them from a learner's perspective.
- 2026-07-27: Softened over-absolute claims about N1 ability ('passing N1 means you can read everything in the original' → 'generally have the foundational ability; real performance varies with individual experience').
- 2026-07-27: Standardized JLPT fee wording to the 2026 Taiwan official brackets (about NT$1,650 for N4/N5, NT$1,800 for N1–N3) and added a 'last verified' date.
